Alexander Bohr

Chairman

Alexander Bohr is the chairman of PATRIP Foundation and shares responsibility for the implementation of its programme as well as management of day-to-day operations with his fellow Board Members. Alexander is, in particular, responsible for PATRIP’s cooperation in the Pakistan-Afghanistan-Tajikistan (PAT) region.

After studying Geography in Munich, Rio de Janeiro and Tübingen, Alexander worked for the EU Delegation in Mozambique in the area of Aid Effectiveness and Donor Coordination, before moving to Cape Verde as Head of Cooperation for the Austrian Development Cooperation. He later set up the Austrian Development Cooperation programme and office in Georgia and Armenia. Afterwards, he returned to Munich and Vienna to gather engineering consultant experience in his role as Business Developer and Regional Manager for Dorsch International Consultants. Before joining PATRIP Foundation, Alexander worked as a freelancer with his own company ODAconsult, which among other included assignments in the Ivory Coast.
