Thomas Rival

Programme Manager

Thomas joined the PATRIP Foundation in July 2017 as Assistant to the Board and since May 2019 holds the function of Programme Manager for the region Pakistan-Afghanistan-Tajikistan. He is mainly responsible for project management activities of assigned GFFO-funded NGO projects and the further development of the portfolio. Furthermore, he is involved in the strategic development of the Foundation and is also the main contact of another programme in Afghanistan, which is funded by the German Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).

 

Thomas studied Business Administration and Economics and holds a Master degree in Development Economics and International Studies from the University Erlangen-Nürnberg. Prior to starting at the PATRIP Foundation, Thomas completed an internship with BENTEN Capital, a financial advisory firm, and the German Development Cooperation (GIZ), working on topics related to sustainable urban development.
