David joined PATRIP in October 2020 as Programme Manager. He primarily manages assigned NGO projects in the West Africa region and contributes to the development of the portfolio.
David studied History, Geography and International Relations at the Sorbonne in Paris and the University College London. After his studies he completed a traineeship for the European Commission’s DG DEVCO, in the office of the Director for West and Central Africa. David then joined the GFA Consulting Group – a German development consultancy firm – as project manager for over four years, working for the Health and Governance departments. From 2017 to 2019 he held the position of long-term-expert for Migration and Communal Development in a BMZ and EU-funded project implemented by the GIZ in Niger. Prior to taking up his new functions for PATRIP he was working as Team Leader in another GIZ project in Nigeria in the area of skills development and the promotion of youth employment.
